Culture of Shandong|"Foreign" students come to Shandong's "Master's Classroom"

When "Old Master" sits down around a group of "foreign" students, what kind of sense of sight does it feel? On December 14th, with the warm winter sun, 12 international students from all over the world came to Laoling, an ancient cultural city, walked into Laoling Studio City and Cultural Center, and started a cultural dialogue between China and foreign countries that spanned thousands of years.

"There are many kinds of actors, including action actors, special actors, true actors and so on …" On the rehearsal stage of Laoling Cultural Center, international students are listening to the first lesson of extras training in Laoling Studio City-"What is an actor". The teacher told the students about professional courses such as actor types and voice practice skills. The international students were eager to try their voice practice methods. Sophia from Russia spoke tongue twisters in her unproficient Chinese, and her stumbling rap made everyone laugh.

Under the guidance of the lecturer, the international students stepped onto the stage and performed an excerpt from China in Classics-"Li Er asked about Poetry" in different roles. Holding bamboo slips in their hands, they imitated the movements, demeanor and tone of Li Er and other students in the teaching video with great interest, and performed with great devotion. In the stage situation, it seemed that they had traveled through thousands of years to study and ask questions with Confucius.

In the class of traditional Chinese etiquette, the international students learned about traditional Chinese etiquette such as bowing and Wanfu, and everyone was in great interest. They followed the demonstration actions of two traditional etiquette teachers, Pang Xuefang and Shi Yingchao, and tried to say hello to each other with the bowing ceremony when the ancient Chinese peers met and said goodbye every day. Wearing colorful Hanfu, imitating the manners of the ancients, some waving bamboo slips, some playing horizontal flute, and some playing pipa, everyone was reluctant to leave until the end of the course.

Saying goodbye to the stage of Han Yun in the Spring and Autumn Period, a group of people walked into Laoling Studio City and couldn't help but enter the Tang Dynasty in a second. International students walked through the antique Tang City, praising the palaces and markets of the Tang Dynasty style, and giving thumbs up. Liu Xianjing from Indonesia said excitedly, "It's really make me satisfied when I came to Laoling Studio City today." The international students not only experienced the fun of performing, but also won the Actor's certificate issued by Laoling  Chengtou Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd, which is really full of harvest.

At the Laoling Golden Jujube Museum, the international students immersed themselves in the cultural history of jujube in Laoling, and were amazed at the history of jujube cultivation in Laoling for more than 3,000 years and more than 500 kinds of jujube in different categories. In the end, all these turned into heartfelt admiration for the profound jujube culture in Laoling. Pearl (DZEKHTSIARUK MARHARYTA) from Belarus said reluctantly, "Thank you for your invitation to let me come to this beautiful place. I like history very much.
